Life Happenings

The boys decided to walk to school last week after Ella got on the school bus!
Camden fell off the spinner on the school playground last Thursday and landed on his head and back!
He had a headache and his neck hurt so the school sent him home.  He wanted to watch TV at Grandma's, better selection there!
Grandma is very good at getting Camden to take medicine, the root beer chaser probably helps a lot!
We had our Girl Scout meeting outside so Camden could rest peacefully inside that evening.  We set up the Teetherball...
and four square for the girls to play before the meeting started.
It worked out nicely since the girls made nature baskets and did a sink/float experiment.
Ella and her friend climbed the tree after the meeting, such little monkeys!
Erik wanted to ride his tricycle in the street.
Cutie
Wheee!
The boys snuggled up for a movie while Ella and Brian was at a hockey playoff game.
Kids playing in the backyard, it's almost summer!
Camden had Ryan over and the raced RC cars.
The twins played Vet for a while
The boys came in an played PayDay until dinner.
Pizza and a Movie, RoboRex!

AWANA Grand Prix

We went to the AWANA Grand Prix again this year.  Checking in...
Camden putting the kids' cars in their numbered places.
We checked in early, so there were a lot more cars to come!
We brought the kids' DS this year, life saves!
It takes an hour to check all the cars in.
Mike, Brian, and John shooting the breeze.
Erik won 2nd is Classic Design.
Camden won 3rd Place for Classic design.
Camden wanted to stay and help clean up with Pastor Bill!
Ella racing her car again after the race ended!  She painted her car a horse, but it didn't win.  I think 90% of the cars are Creative cars, so the odds for winning that trophy is small.  Next year I will ask her about a girlie classic car design!

Easter 2015

Somehow I forgot to post Easter?  We dyed eggs at a friend's house this year on Saturday.
My parents were in Florida.   We ate tacos for dinner.

I changed the kids and we headed to the Good Friday Service at East Hill Church.

The twins came home with these Easter Egg Poems.
On Easter morning the kids found the baskets and a box of See's Candy from the Alderson Grandparents!  Yum.
Then it was off to church again and then the Bowlsby Grandparents for Easter dinner.

Waiting for the Easter Egg hunt to start....

Erik got charcoal on his shirt, so he went shirtless for the night!

It's hard to be the bigger cousins getting no money or candy; his sneakiness did pay off though!
Ella was a little happy about all the money!
Thanks Alderson Grandparents for the bag of change!

Brian!
We also celebrated Great Grandpa Ole's 89th birthday that night!
