We attended the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby last weekend and all 8 Tigers were there! We got our first full Den picture! Erik is in the middle in the front row.
The Bowlsby Grandparents came to watch the kids race their cars.
Camden did really well handling the disappointment that his car was very slow.
The cars raced on!
Erik had fun watching his car race for the first year as an actual Cub Scout!
As Awards/Advancement Chairperson, I got to handle giving out the awards.
Brian's car won 2nd in Speed overall, Ella's won 3rd speed in the Open Class. Erik won 2nd place for Speed in his Age Group and Camden won People's Choice for his car design!

I misread the car number and actually awarded the trophy to Erik at the Race instead of Camden!Camden was bummed at the race, but I was SO proud of his sportsmenship. He was very happy to display his "winning car" on the trophy after I made the correction!
