Baseball 2014

Guess Who!

All 3 kids are playing in the same baseball team this year, The Rookie Braves!  We started the game playing outfield and Ella was chosen to play catcher!

Erik played Pitcher.  Well, at this age the coaches pitch and catch the balls, so Erik stood there nicely!

CJ got outfield, not so much action with 6-8 year olds batting.

Then it was our turn up at bat!  Ella batted first!

Off she goes to first base!

Then Erik was up next and ran so fast I didn't catch a picture of him running!

Finally CJ hit a double!

Off he runs!

Erik is so cute; he chews on the corner of his glove just like his Mommy did!

CJ got to run home and score point for our team at our last round at bat!

It was a great game!  We celebrated our Good Sportmanship with ice cream!  The kids can get tagged out now that they are in real baseball and since my kids don't hit the ball past the bases, they get tagged out most times.  I want to encourage them to be winners with their attitudes.  If they try their best throughout the game AND get tagged out more than 3 times we celebrate!
